So if she gets lost, or you just need her in a jiffy- Serana can pop right to your location (though, she does get a bit nauseus when teleporting (similar to Geralt from The Witcher games) so do be careful! - Cure Dialogue Rewrite + Expansion. You can continue to use NFF, just disable the Outfit and Storage features in place of mine.. - Serana now comments on radiant intercourse after it happens. - Removed debug notification that shouldn't be there for the horse riding. - One of the SeranaRomance lines in the sixth mini-quest was re-recorded since I initially got Durnehviir confused for Odahviig. Regardless, Serana will not want to go in that house at any cost because of Molag Bal's history with her family. The revoice will be done in reverse order- with the final revoice parts being the first Dawnguard quests. - Greatly reduced frequency of Serana's irritated sneak greets, - Companions and Jorrvaskr general location-awareness. After this update, NFF (and any follower framework support for Serana) will be obsolete. Included in this mod: Dialogue which will appear to change Serana's attributes making her marriable. Big Update! Happens every day or so, she'll choose to give gifts spontaneously (the player will be notified when Serana wants to give a gift). Serana Dialogue Add-On - Nexus Mods :: Skyrim Special Edition - Declining Serana's marriage proposal will no longer gate future Serana Romance content. A lot of fixes and content additions. As of 3.0 and for later updates, Serana Dialogue Add-On will be intended to be an all-encompassing Serana mod, other than editing her vanilla appearance. - Thanks to the efforts of keypuncher, one record was changed which allowed my patch to work with both regular and standalone color versions of the Lustmord Armor on SSE. - More tunes for Serana to idle-hum to based on some vanilla tunes as well as those from her current song library, - Complete location conversations on all of the remaining major Skyrim Holds (Falkreath, Morthal, Dawnstar, Solitude, Markarth), - A new conversation about Serana's childhood. This change was done to make sure everything was better paced. There was on update on nexus so I'll post that here: from the MA "Important Announcement Regarding AE: Hey guys! :D. - New RP conversations with Serana, about: -Serana asking about the player's backstory, -Comments on the player's race (she gives different insights on all the different races), - Solstheim location awareness (both for the main region and the various settlements within it. This is to make it less intrusive when it first fires, and to have it be friendlier for VR users. Dark Brotherhood faction awareness and quest commentary. - Over 10 new romance conversations (and over 260 new dialogue lines) with Serana over the course, and after the Dawnguard questline. When she joins up with the player again after "Bloodlines", after about a week she will start to open up to the player and become friendlier (a new game, or save before Bloodlines is completed required for the timer to take effect). - Serana's Raise Zombie toggles are no longer built into the mod, and now will require a patch via the SDA Patch Hub. Again, her friendship timer is started as soon as you meet her for the second time (either in Fort Dawnguard/ Castle Volkihar) and tell her, "So, here we are again. - Serana can now wear whatever you want her to wear! - College of Winterhold general location awareness and commentary. Serana will also be able to travel beside you, should you ask her to do that. So now you can hear all of her fun lines. If the player thinks highly of Serana they can treat her kindly, but if they thought she's been a nuisance and annoying they can respond to her like that as well. Serana now has her own custom horse, which you obtain through a short quest (which can be triggered as early as the Moth Priest hunt). Well, after installing (as of this writing) 237 mods (including SDA) and never having gone through the Dawnguard questline at all in any of my many test playthroughs, I look forward to seeing what all this mod has in store. Giving her a spell book will not work. This has been fixed so that the dialogue will only occur during the proper MQ conversation context. A lot of the beginning College of Winterhold commentaries don't rely on a strong friendship dynamic anyway, narratively speaking. She chooses to stick around, and her ending reaction to you has been toned down a bit. I've heard enough reports of people's saves being corrupted once the SDA mod is uninstalled. This has since been fixed. Serana offers to be the player's friend, to which they can either quickly shun or accept Serana's moves. Not required for both mods to work together well, just a quality of life improvement for repetitive Hello dialogue. These lines will be added in with the rest of the 2.8 update, but for now, Laura will be voicing those lines with her vanilla depiction. - Serana now has some flavorful comments on Haelga's room in her Bunkhouse! - Tweaked conditions for "A Night to Remember" commentary to ensure the first commentary line fires off, - Tweaked conditions for some radiant romance lines to not occur if the player isn't in the mood for touchy-feely stuff, - Tweaked conditions for one of her scripted MQ commentaries to hopefully not occur while Delphine is speaking, - Tweaked dialogue fragment scripts in Serana's Forgotten Vale romance quest, so that her final dialogue lines would fire off properly, - Fixed conditions Serana's quest commentary for Discerning the Transmundane to only occur while that quest is running, - Added in missing voice greets from the previous Radiant Update, - Added in dialogue improvements to the SDA_SeranaRomance4 conversation. I want to be sure the player hears what she has to say. - The contextual responses for some of Serana's radiant dialogue should now work properly and as intended. - Flower Girls animation support innately added to SDA, without requiring a plugin patch. - Changed it so the negative response in the first romance conversation never truly cancels out romance. - Some Serana Romance quests no longer say whether a quest was complete and logs it in your journal, because a lot of these are just conversations. Mods that edit the main Thieves Guild quests will not be supported (any quest record starting with TG)- Serana's commentary is based on the vanilla records. For now these are unvoiced. - Condition adjustments for some dialogue lines, - A bunch of backend tweaks to make future development easier, - Moved location commentary out of the "Can I Talk to you for a bit" dialogue option, and into its own dialogue branch, - Changed "House of Horrors" dialogue to a ForceGreet under it's own quest entry so it would fire off to the player more reliably. The writing for a lot of these conversations has improved, and Kerstyn's voice should now feel more synergistic with how she voices the Serana character now. She no longer gets cured immediately, but only 24 hours after (after "thinking about it"). Over 127 lines with extensive awareness on each quest. - Implemented a proper dismiss and wait script to Serana's "House of Horrors" and "Diplomatic Immunity" quests respectively. - Note: As for Serana moving in with the player to someplace once they get married, that's still on the drawing board and I'm still planning how I'll implement that, at least on a technical level, as it is a bit of a technical hurdle. Spouse Merchant ability and daily gold. You can tell Serana to never equip it at all, or only to equip it if it's daytime and she doesn't have any other headgear. Serana Dialogue Add-On Romance Update + LE Port! - Fixed some backend problems with the SDA Injured Dialogue. - 130+ brand-new custom names for Serana to call you by! - Serana will no longer compliment your skills when she is in a dungeon. - Serana's House of Horrors commentary was still not occurring for some people. - Disabled old recap dialogue to help reduce VA overlap. Added in Serana crouch bugfix, based on the code of Serana Improvements and Fixes by DRFire9001. - Includes conversation topics on: lycanthropy, Redguard opinion, funny stories, - Reordered topic priority in main dialogue window, - Script optimizations for the radiant injured comments. Instead of just disabling dialogue, the dialogue added by those mods now still plays, but only during the Dawnguard quests (as to enrich Laura Bailey's voice pool but not creating a jarring experience for the user outside of those quests). She is the Serana in Laura Bailey's absence. - Serana is no longer dismissed during The Silver Hand quest. - (Main Quest) Serana is now properly dismissed as her she talks with the player right before they leave for Skuldafn, - The "Tale of the Tongues" song dialogue was conditioned incorrectly. Serana and Aela are my two favorite followers in all of Skyrim, so to see a follower given as much of an overhaul as SDA . The progression of this content is almost entirely experienced through dialogue with Serana along the Dawnguard journey. - Being a lover to Serana unlocks radiant lover dialogue which may be experienced at will, as a way for you two to be affectionate. - If the player does push through with the entire Serana romance quest, they will be rewarded with a special skill ability. The player will be able to ask Serana which version they'd like her to play in-game. Even vampires need some shut-eye every now and then. - SDA_AlternateVoice check now occurs within the premises of the entire castle location, during Chasing Echoes- not just the dungeon interior. Bethesda meant only the player to attend the party, no one else. I've just released the latest 3.0 update for my Serana Dialogue Add-On mod, which adds a bunch of cool stuff! - Fixed an oversight toggle that accidentally triggered the Laura Bailey voice during the Prophet quest (Dawnguard side). - Commentary tweaks for Raven Rock mine quest, so more players would get to hear Serana's commentary. - The Markarth and Morthal conversations were mixed up. - Initial patch release. If you really want to, you can technically import Serana still (just make sure she still uses her vanilla follow package and don't use any conflicting features). The horse will also follow/teleport to her when it has gotten too far, so no need to worry about horse catch-ups. Fixed some redundant code. Serana Dialogue Add-On is highly acclaimed and also featured in Forbes magazine. This quest awareness is extensive, and covers every single Companions quest until the end of the questline. Full Kerstyn revoices for all Serana lines during the Kindred Judgement and Touching the Sky quests (the last two quests in Dawnguard). Now it shouldn't be delayed. There were some files incorrectly archived. - Reverted consistency tweak for Serana's sneezing so that it occurs whether or not she's a vampire. Over 100 lines of new dialogue! Part of the groundwork I'm doing before the release of the romance update rework, this change was made for a more authentic depiction of the relationship. Did not make much sense for Serana's character, even in vanilla- especially when the whole point of the Dawnguard questline was to stop Harkon from blotting out the sun. I am planning to make a voiced add-on to this mod though, Jay's already given me the all-clear. - Fixed an incorrect master header for the patch. In addition (after a short conversation with her about her spell-casting abilities) she will gain access to an expanded repertoire of new spells, like Healing, Oakflesh, and Flame Atronach. - (Vampire Only Side) Serana will no longer greet you right after starting "Chasing Echoes"- she should do it outside now. Anyone who wants to disable and toggle Serana's raise zombie spells will need to download this new patch, and if they use Serana replacers, make their own patches via xEdit.
